HP Laptop - 17-by3065st

I'm want to replace the the 1TB HDD  hard disk in my in HP Pavilion 17-BY1033DX Laptop. It's a hybrid with a 128GB SSD for the Windows 10 operating system and program files and also has an internal 1TB HDD for storing  non-OS file. All my other HP's except for 1, have an internal 2.5" SATA 1tb HDD drive. In the device manager info on this computer it says WDC WD10SPZX-60Z10TD

Under disc properties is says Device SCSI\Disk and Ven_WD10SPZX-60Z10TD .

So what type of internal drive should I buy. I don't see the words SATA anywherer in the HDD description, but it looks the same as the 2.5" SATA drives in my other HP laptops.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

Also wondering if this model will take a HDD with larger capacity, like a 2TB HDD.

Thanks in advance.

Below is the link to the parts list for your notebook.

HP PartSurfer

It comes with a standard 1 TB 5,400 RPM 2.5" mechanical hard drive, so that is the type you should replace it with 2.5" SATA mechanical or solid state.

1.0TB SATA hard disk drive - 5,400 RPM, 7.0mm form factor - Raw drive, does not include hard drive bracket or screws

I don't see any reason why your notebook would not support a 2 TB drive as long as it is 7.0 mm thick.
