Hello all,
I'm planing to replace HD screen of my HP Envy-M6 1160ET laptop with the FHD screen. I think it should be possible.
How can I find correct order number for FHD screen? And I need order number for connecion cable too if it is necessary.
Does someone have any idea to help me on finding correct order numbers? Did anyone try it before?
Thanks for answers,
Yunus Tufek

Here is the Service Manual:
There was no optional FHD panel offered on that model line.
That means we do not know whether the existing video system and cable can drive a FHD panel. Maybe not.
You can certainly find a FHD panel that will fit and uses the same type of connector as the existing panel. This shows the type that is in there now:
Like this one:
But I give it no better than 50/50 that this FHD panel would display properly if you installed it.
Good luck.
