Right now I have an HP Pavilion Dv6t-2000 computer, which has 4gb Ram installed, but I don't know the maximum ammount of Ram, and if it can be upgraded. It says it uses slots in task manager, but I am unsure. This is so that my computer becomes less laggy, and performs better because right now it has, 4gb of ram. Thank you in advance.

If I upgrade my RAM to DDR4 at 4266 mHz on SODIMM, will it work or does it have to be DDR3 at 1066 mHz, on Non-ECC/ Unbuffered RAM and SODIMM. If I can't do higher DDR versions can I at least upgrade to DDR3 RAM at higher speeds? Like, DDR3 RAM, at 2133 mHz, on Non-ECC/Unbuffered RAM. Thank you in advance.

The memory is non-ECC unbuffered So-DIMM and you cannot put DDR4 into a DDR3 slot. They are physically different and will not fit. You can install faster DDR3 memory but it will run at 1066 speed regardless.
