I recently replace my laptop battery from SR03XL which is a 3 cell to SR04XL a 4 cell. But my laptop does not detect the battery at all? so how do I make it recognize the replacement battery. In case you wondering why my I changed to SR04XL it's because when I look up for battery compatibility it says that my laptop model can use it.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that your computer supports 4 cell polymer battery - 70 Whr (all models)
- 1. Go to Start, search for Device Manager, and open this result.
- 2. Expand batteries.
- 3. Right-click on the ACPI option (usually the 2nd option) and select delete or uninstall. Follow the prompts.
- 4. Shut down the computer.
- 5. Disconnect the charger.
- 6. Remove the battery.
- 7. Hold down the power button for 1 minute.
- 8. Insert the battery only.
- 9. Attempt to turn the battery on.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
