Hello!
I have been using the HP envy x360 laptop for many years, and all of a sudden a bolt appears in the bottom right corner of the hinge. I have seen that others have had this problem.
I have read the maintenance and service document as well as watched the part removal video on the HP Support YouTube channel and believe that I can take apart the laptop to at least view the problem. I was wondering whether it would be possible to replace the pin. Thanks!
Kind regards, Daniel
PS: Below is a picture from the part removal video on the HP Support video which I believe is the failing part.

So the video is not your laptop? If that screw is broken on your laptop or has pulled out you may need to replace the whole base assembly. It has the mount for the screw. If the mount is stripped it cannot be repaired
