Helo Everyone, I have a HP 17t-cn300, it is a touchscreen laptop. i7 1355U iris xe graphics.
It was a gift to me. Anyways I see that this model came with two screen display option, a HD+ TN panel and a FHD IPS panel. I have the HD+ TN panel. Both screens have a 30pin connector on the bottom right, and no brackets. In this regard they are identical. Can I swop the HD+ for the compatible FHD IPS panel, will it just work without having to do any software changes to the drivers or any similar thing. Im not very experienced in this regard, though i have opened a few laptops throughout the years, for easier diy upgrades. Does anyone have experience with this laptop model and did somthing similar.
TIA.
