Hello

ive hp 655 notebook pc amd 1800 e2

it came with 500gb hdd

yesterday I’ve replaced hdd with new ssd and since that when i turn on laptop for the first time it takes 10 to 15 mins to recognize ssd and operating system too

after that when i restart my laptop it shows a black screen for 10 to 15 mins before booting windows I’ve tried win 7 and 8 and 8.1 every windows is working like a charm in using it but all problems showing in booting it takes very long time to boot especially when i turn it on for the first time 

idk if there is a setting must do for ssd to work good im using it as uefi and my motherboard supports that

if I’ve to do some format type or smth please tell me I’ve just replaced it with hdd and installed windows normally

fortunately I’ve Managed to find the solution of this problem by myself…

The problem was from connecting ssd as normal hdd in its slot with its flat to motherboard but when I connected ssd by using dvd rack it worked successfully with really fast boot and no any problems

(3) Let BIOS be installed until it's completely done !

(4) Test system performance again ...

It was updated to f.29 version and in it iwas facing hard drive 301 error every boot and downgraded it to hide this problem 

And when it open without error it was the same long time booting btw

System Configuration > Virtualization <Disabled>
System Configuration > Boot Options > Legacy Support <Disable>
System Configuration > Boot Options > Secure Boot <Disabled>

 

(2) Save BIOS settings and exit

(3) Test/Boot again ...
