Hi there
I need to replace the battery on this laptop (holding less and less charge), but I realize it is not a item that I can easily source and fit myself as the battery is internal and I would need to open the case. It's out of warranty. I'm based in the UK.
Can anyone point me to:
- Where/how quickly/at what cost I might get this done through HP (given it's out of warranty)?
- Where I might get hold of the necessary part (and get it fitted locally, which might be quicker)?
Seems daft to buy a new one when this is working OK...
Thanks!

Thank you both for the help and advice - just what I needed to know, if not what I wanted to hear. It doesn't look like too daunting a replacement procedure. We'll see if I can find a battery, though. At least I know what needs to be done.
Thanks again!
