Hello,
I'm about to replace the keyboard of my HP Victus 16 with the exact same part I've found on the internet. I was wondering if anybody did already replace the keyboard on this model. I'm looking for every useful info on this thing.
Thank you very much,
Lucas

Unfortunately I am not finding the Service Manual but generally on laptops where you access the parts from the rear by removing the base cover, the keyboard is not a separate part. Odds are the part you have ordered is the whole top cover with keyboard embedded. In such cases it is necessary to completely disassemble the laptop, leaving the upside down top cover as the last piece. Then, you rebuild the laptop onto the new top cover. Big job. In the day you simply removed 4 or 5 screws from the bottom and the keyboard could be lifted out of the top cover. This is not an ideal design for keeping the laptop as slim as possible. So newer design makes laptop slim but makes a headache for technicians.
Sometimes you will find keyboard offered on models with the keyboard embedded in the top cover but what is being sold is a factory component used to build the top cover. Removing the old keyboard and trying to insert the new part is just about impossible to do without the machinery used to manufacture the laptop. Good luck.

Here's the link of the keyboard, mine was azerty and this one is qwerty but I don't think it changes anything about hardware
