Hi. I have a problem with replacing optane memory to nvme ssd in my bc499na. I disable optane memory in optane app and replace it to ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 512GB but BIOS doesn't recognize nvme ssd. I have f. 25 bios. Any ideas? Thank you.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Could please share the picture of the bios environment?
After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA hard drive and 16 GB PCIe® NVMe™ Intel® Optane™ Memory for storage acceleration installed on the PC.
See the below table on storage:
- Note: you can replace the Optane memory with an M.2 NVMe SSD or an M.2 SATA SSD.
Here are a few methods:
- Open Intel Optane Memory application or Intel Rapid Storage Technology application, then Click on Intel Optane, then Click Disable.
- Find your SSD slot/ M.2 SSD Slot which contains Optane Memory.
- Remove the screw.
- Lift up and release the Optane Memory.
- Replace the slot with the new SSD.
Almost all motherboards disable 1 or more SATA ports if an m.2 SATA disk is connected to m.2 port. If there are any disks connected to those affected ports, remove them and try again.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
