Product: HP Spectre x360 - 13t-aw000 CTO
I need to replace the USB charging port that is on the top right 'corner' of my laptop, which is HP Spectre x360 - 13t-aw000 CTO.
Actually, I'm trying to find a computer repair person to do it. I have had two people tell me that 'usually' replacing the port means removing the old one which is soldered to the motherboard and then soldering the new one in. But so far, no one seems to know whether or not MY model is like that.
I've seen various instructions, YouTube videos, and parts for sale where that port is sort of a 'plug-in', NOT soldered.
Does anyone know for THIS model which kind of port replacement is necessary?
