Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-e0000 (2V8Z8AV)

Dear HP Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue I’m currently facing with my HP Victus 16.1-inch Gaming Laptop (Model: 16-e0000, Product ID: 2V8Z8AV). I have been using this laptop for the past four years and have always handled it with the utmost care.

However, yesterday while opening the lid, I heard an unexpected snapping sound and noticed that the right hinge had broken, causing visible damage to the edge of the screen as well. This occurred suddenly and without any external force, impact, or mishandling. My laptop has never been dropped or mishandled in any way.

After researching online, I have come across numerous reports from other HP Victus users facing similar hinge-related issues, indicating this might be a common manufacturing flaw rather than user damage.

While I understand that my warranty may have expired, I kindly request no-cost assistance for this issue, either in the form of a repair or replacement. Ignoring this problem may lead to further damage, including a completely broken display, which I am hoping to avoid.

I sincerely hope HP will stand by its product quality and support long-term customers like me in such situations. I would be grateful if you could guide me on the next steps for getting this issue resolved as soon as possible.

Thank you for your time and understanding.pic.jpg
