Hello HP Support,
I own an HP OMEN system with motherboard 8786. I have updated my BIOS to the latest version available from HP, and Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 are enabled and functioning correctly.
However, some games, including Call of Duty, continue to report that my TPM firmware version is outdated. The TPM firmware version on my system contains a “.0” revision, and Activision’s system appears to be looking for a newer TPM firmware release.
Could HP please confirm whether a BIOS update with a newer TPM firmware version is planned for this motherboard? If so, is there an estimated release timeframe?
I have already:
● Updated to the latest HP BIOS available.
● Enabled TPM 2.0 in BIOS.
● Enabled Secure Boot.
● Updated Windows and chipset drivers.
Any information regarding future BIOS or TPM firmware updates for the HP 8786 motherboard would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
