Dear HP Support Team,

I am requesting assistance with enabling the Resizable BAR (ReBAR) feature on my laptop.

I received a notification from the Intel Graphics Command Center recommending that I enable this feature for optimal performance on my Intel Iris Xe Graphics.

My System Information:

Product Name: HP Pavilion x360 14 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 14-ek0000

CPU: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1235U

Steps Taken:

I have updated the BIOS to the latest version available on the HP support website.

I checked the BIOS Setup Utility and the options for "Above 4G Decoding" and "Resizable BAR Support" are missing.

I used the GPU-Z tool, which confirms that the Resizable BAR feature is currently Disabled.

Request:

Since the hardware supports this feature, I kindly request an official solution. Could you please confirm if a BIOS update is planned to add the missing options, or if there is a way to manually enable ReBAR on this specific Pavilion model?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

This system does not have support for that feature.

I looked at the bios revision history and F.09 is the only bios that actually did anything useful.

All other updates are security related and, IMHO, will slow down your laptop.

Since the re-size bar is basically need for improving performance in games, I do not recommend any bios updates that are security related.
