the screws were loose on my 2 year old laptop. it broke the cover.
I replaced the back with a new one from HP.. $$$$$$$
I found that the brass inserts have pulled out and the plastic mounts are broken.
The pc is still under warranty until today 4/14/2020. I have messaged hp and have heard nothing back..
There are no local HP stores and they are close due to covid 19.
This pc was 1000 dollars... this seems to be a common issue. since the last post had 7 pages from 2016 to 2020..
This is the 4th hp laptop I have owned, I can't spend 1000 dollars every 2 years...
What is my path forward...
please help.. this is our only pc and we use it daily..

I hope I do get a path forward...
Like I said this is my 4th HP laptop in 10 years. They have all been my wife's, and if she's not happy and able to be on her laptop nobody in the house is happy..
Really hate the idea of buying a new laptop from a differ brand since this is a well know issue.
Warranty expires today but I have reached out to HP already and have not head anything back yet???
