Hi there,
One of the rubber feet has fallen off my laptop's undercarriage and when I enter my product number in the Partsurfer all that comes up is the laptop itself. Any ideas of what laptop number I can use to find the part? It seems so unnecessarily complex!

Generally, the information is better in PartSurfer (more complete) if you use your Serial Number as opposed to the product number. In some cases, yes - the only thing you can get is the top most listing for the product.

PartSurfer might be able to tell you exactly which parts came with your computer.
Open PartSurfer
- Select your Country
- Enter the device Product Number , Serial Number, or Part Number in the Quick Search box
- HINT: To see a system-specific list, replace the Product Number with your device Serial Number

Parts marked as "n/a" are not available from HP.
Parts marked as available for purchase might be available from: HP Parts Store
