Product: HP Envy x360 15m-cp-0012dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Since yesterday my laptop is running too slow. When I checked the task manager the maximum clock frequency is 400 mhz. I also checked the temperature, it is normal. Fan is running at full speed pushing out cold air, so the cpu is not hot. I tries various steps such as upgrading BIOS(which was already up to date), tried updating windows still nothing happened. Please help. My laptop has Ryzen 7 2700U with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD.

When that type of thing happen, it is usually a malware infection or a hard drive failing. Start with running a good malware software scan. If that does not find an infection, try running the diagnostics from the Popup boot menu.
