Hi,  My SD Reader is not working.  The HP Assistant doesn't have drivers for W10.  Does anyone know where I can download those?

Thanks!

Hi,

Do you put the microSD card on an adapter ? Anyway, please try a normal SD card with 16GB first

Hi,

Your machine is an HP ENVY TouchSmart Sleekbook 4-1115dx :

Please try first driver from the following site

Hi,

I tried that.  It is still not working.  I put a brand new card in the reader.  Is it possible the card is bad?  Is there another way to verify the reader is working properly?  Using a 3rd party driver update utility (which I didn't follow through with because it is fee based), it detects the driver is now up-to-date.  It said it was out of date previosly.  Thank you for pointing me to the driver.

Hello,

I read on another post the issue was an older type card.  I think that is my problem.  My cared is a SanDisk mciro SD /TransFlash card orginally meant for a phone.  I think I need to purchase a newer SD card.  Can you tell me where I can find what card types are supported on this device?

Thanks!
