Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Since I upgraded my notebook to Windows 11, my built-in SD Card reader is no longer recognized.  It had worked fine with Windows 10 installed.  I have switched out SD cards that worked in other computers, tried to clean the contacts in the reader, but nothing works.  I even put SD cards in a USB adapter and plug that into the USB port on the notebook.  They are recognized and work fine there, but not in the reader.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Is there a solution?

Hi:

 

I cannot find any HP W11 Realtek SD card reader drivers.

 

Not even on the Realtek site itself.

 

I did find one from Lenovo for W11, if you want to take a chance on it.

 

Realtek Card Reader Driver for Windows 11 (64-bit) -ideapad 3-14IIL05, ideapad 3-15IIL05, ideapad 3-...

 

I looked up the specs on one of the models listed and it comes with an Intel 11th gen core processor, so it is about 3 years newer than your model.
