Hi!

Having trouble with the SD card showing/being recognized. When I insert the memory card on the side of my laptop I can hear the notification sound and the removable hard drive icon and name appears and disappears in seemingly 1 second. The memory card works fine on other devices.

I've updated windows and all  device updates available in HP Assist. I've been to device manager but the only thing that appears under drives is KXG50ZNV512G toshiba (this too is up to date) and the memory card doesn't show when I go to disk management. I also tried going to file and making sure all empty or hidden files and drives are showing.

Can anyone help me with a possible solution? Thanks

What is the model and size of the SD card ? Have you tried a card from a different brand.

Regards.

The cards I am trying are the same cards that used to work. This is a recent problem that just started this month.

I also read the list of compatiable cards before posting in the HP community.

Did you ever get this fixed Tai33?

I did. Restarted the computer a few times switched sd cards and it just started working. Previously none of my SD cards were working. There is one that still won't work but all the others do so I'm fine.
