Having inserted a camera SD card in the slot for the first time in my new laptop, and read the files, it wont eject. Theres no feeling of spring which my previous HP laptop had. Light next to the slot is flasing. Have clicked eject from File Explorer as well

Hi @MCT2021,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding laptop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
That SD card sure seems to have made itself at home! Since it’s not popping out as expected, let’s try a few things. First, does the card feel physically stuck, or does it just not spring back? Also, have you tried shutting down the laptop completely before attempting to remove it? Let me know, and we’ll figure out the best way to get it safely out!
I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?"—your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍✨
Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀
