My onboard SD Reader stopped working. Device manager sees it under Memory Technology Devices which states the device is working properly. I have uninstalled it and rebooted it several times. I can read the SD cards on two other devices with no problem. Also, the SD Card does not show up in the Disk Management. It seems to quick working after a Windows update.
Driver - Realtek PCIE Card Reader 10.0.19041.21343
Edition Windows 10 Home
Version 21H2
OS build 19044.2728
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4190.0
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be see if installing a newer version of the Realtek SD card reader driver resolves the problem.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did it and no change. I did delve a little deeper into the event log and I don't know if this may be the issue. It show an error:

You're very welcome.
Sorry that the driver update didn't work.
Since the device manager is reporting that the Realtek SD card is working properly, unfortunately I don't know what the problem could be.
If the device was continuing to have problems starting, that would be indicated in the device manager with a warning mark, and a numeric code, stating the device couldn't start.
