SD card does not eject

I just bought this laptop.  It has the 11th gen intel i7.  The first time I used the sd card it will not pop out. You also cannot feel the spring tension when you push it in as you would normally feel.  Usually to get it out you push in lightly and then it springs back out.  I needed needle nose pliers to get it back out.  I tried a number of cards and the same thing.  Apparently this is a problem with the hp laptops as I have seen a number of complaints.  I have loaded lots of software on the computer so I'm not returning it and going all through that again.  If you have this problem either return it or use tweezers or needle nose pliers to pull it out.  A bit of a pain in the a.. but easier than reinstalling all the software for me anyway.

I have looked into the issue you are having with your SD Card in the SD Card Reader on your HP Pavilion. Here is a document I found called My SD Card does not work or Cannot be Read.

Please read these particular sections of the document;

• Press the card in a little harder
• No Drive Icon in My Computer
• Check Write-Protection
• Formatting

Also, have you tried another SD Card or tried to put this SD Card into another device to see if it can be read? I also found a Manual for your HP Laptop PC 15t-dy200 CTO. I read the Manual and found these instructions: To insert: 1. Hold the card, label side up, with connectors facing the slot, and push in the card until it is firmly seated. To remove 1. Press in on the card and quickly release it until it pops out.
