Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Ive reinstalled os's many times on this computer and I currently have win 8.1 dual boot ubuntu Beaver.  My sd card reader isnt recognized in windows yet works in linux.  I see a few unidentified devices in device manager one pci, one my ralink bluetooth card, and 2 unknow devices.  Where can i get the proper drivers????

Hi:

 

You need to install the drivers for those devices.

 

Here is the one for the sd card reader (PCI Device)...

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp63501-64000/sp63973.exe

 

You can find the rest of the drivers you need at the link below, from the 14-n000 model series.

 

Do not use any of the BIOS or firmware files from this model on yours...

Thanks, but when i ran the file it gave me an error and said failed to extract cab.

 

How do I figure out which one of the unknown devices is what?

Use the W8.1 SD card reader directly from Realtek.

 

Download, unzip and run the setup application from the 1st file listed at the link below.

Please post the hardware ID's for any devices you can't find the drivers for, and I will post the links to the drivers you need.
