Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
my notebook does not recognize or see any memory stick inserted in the sd card slot. Do i need a driver to get that working perfectly ok?

Hi:

 

If you had to reinstall W7 recently, yes, you need to install the Ricoh card reader driver...

 

This package contains the Ricoh Media Card Reader Driver for the supported notebook/laptop models and operating systems. The Ricoh Media Card Reader driver provides support for the following media: Memory Stick, xD-Picture Card, MMC, SD, and SmartCard.
