Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I would like to upgrade the SDD of this HP ENVY X360 Convertible 15-es2xxx 

I have 1TB. 

I'd like to go to at least 2TB if not more.

What kind of SDD compatible should I buy?

What is the most capacity supported for SDD in such laptop?

Where may I find the manual of such laptop for review these features?

Hello Tonyvl78.

 

Unfortunately HP offers only this MANUAL that isn't for your exact model, but about a previous TigerLake version. The datasheet, however, informs us that these systems were sold with Gen4 SSDs of up to 1TB capacity.. This doesn't mean that you are limited to 1TB of course. Walmart for example offers the 15-es2508dx upgraded with 8TB storage and 64GB RAM.

Crucial, on its page for your system, offers several compatible SSDs -you can choose one of the Gen4 capacities.

Instructions on how to perform the upgrade can be found in the (above mentioned) manual, and also in the disassembly video by Laptopmedia (15-es1000) and this youtube video (15-es2003ca).
