@PADRAIGOHARA

I have several PCs running on 120GB SSDs, and none of them are even HALF full, after running for years!!

Windows Update is the likely culprit, along with cache files that are downloaded every time you browse a website.

Here are some things you can do to recover some of the disk space:

Also, the community Win10 Forums has the following suggestions:

Finally, there is a freeware app known as Wise Disk Cleaner. I use it every day to get rid of junk files: https://www.wisecleaner.com/wise-disk-cleaner.html

Well, those should have removed a lot more stuff. I regularly run Win10 on 120GB SSDs and always have 60GB or more of free space using those apps.

Try the following:

1) Open up a command window with admin rights

2) Paste this there and run it:

Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase

This will clean out the WinSxS folder -- which should have happened before; I don't know why.
