Product: HP EliteBook 840 G2
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have inadvertently dropped my device and I think the hdd is now damaged. This is the device: HP EliteBook 840 G2 - 5CG5364XXZ - G8S00AV. I would like to change the hdd with an ssd. My current drive is an hdd WD7500BPKX 750GB

Hi:

 

Yes, the WD Blue 2.5" SSD should work fine.

 

In my opinion, it offers the best read/write speeds for the price.
