Hello.
The laptop was purchased in November 2018. It works perfectly, mainly used for the Internet and YouTube. But a message appeared that: Drive health. Warning reliability is degraded. Back up your data in case of drive failure. Estimate remaining life: 4%. Checked through CrystalDiskInfo, also shows 4%.
Question: What should I do? Buy a new SSD drive? How do I transfer the original Windows operating system from the old SSD to the new one?

Hi:
Yes, I recommend that you replace the 512 GB NVMe SSD with a new one.
Recommended replacements would be the Samsung 980 (not 980 Pro), or the Western Digital Blue SN 570.
You have a couple of options to reinstall Windows:
1. Clone the existing drive's contents to the new drive, but you will also need to purchase a USB3 to NVMe adapter such as this:
M.2 SSD Enclosure: Amazon.de: Computer & Accessories
Use a free cloning/backup sofware program such as Macrium Reflect to clone the drive.
You want the software on the left side of the page under the Backup at Home section.
Macrium Software | Reflect Free Edition
You may need to perform an extra step to clone the slightly larger 512 GB SSD to a 500 GB SSD.
Macrium Software | Cloning a disk with Macrium Reflect 8
2. Your other option if you don't mind reinstalling any programs and personal files you installed since you bought the notebook would be to use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook on the new SSD.
You can make that media now while your PC is still operational.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility.
If you would rather use another PC to create the media, you will need to enter your PC's product number in the tool's window. Your PC's product number is: 4AV95EA#ABD
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the SSD removal and replacement procedure:
