HP 15 Notebook 15q-ds0010tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-Bit)

Product Name: HP 15 Notebook 15q-ds0010tu

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-Bit)

i5 8th gen, 1tb hdd, 8gb ram, purchased in November 2019

My question is

Can i add

www.amazon.in/dp/B078WYS5K6/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_Bc8YEbMY0HW38

to my notebook?

Can i use both ssd m.2 for boot and as a primary drive and 1TB HDD as for normal use like storing data?

If yes, would it be safe to install myself or should i get it done from hp support office coz i think it might void the warranty, what is your call?

Thanks in advance

Unless this service guide is wrong https://support.hp.com/ca-en/product/hp-15q-ds0000-laptop-pc/20395838/manuals

There only appears to be a single drive connection on this laptop

But it was advertised as it has a seperate ssd slot inside it

That was the reason I stated that the guide might not be 100% correct. Your best option is to drop the bottom plate and confirm what actual physical slots are available. It is possible that they have the wrong guide attached on the support site, it does happen. My personal take is when in doubt, check out the physical hardware because sometimes the manual writer has never even seen the product.

Does dropping the bottom plate with myself voids the laptop's warranty ?
