Helo,
I would like to install one ssd in my 15bs 146tu notebook. There is an m.2 port available in motherboard. But i'm not sure about whether it is a SATA compatible port or a NVMe compatible one. Can any one help me to figure it out or if anybody aware of 15bs 146tu version please suggest me one.
Also, i wish to install an Ubuntu in 500gb m.2 ssd (The one to be installed) and keep the windows 10 in 1tb hdd. will it bring any issues with booting, like two OS in two different drives, rather than partitioning of a single drive?

Welcome to HP Support Community!
You can install an M.2 solid-state drive into the hard drive bay using an adapter bracket and connector board.
Here is the list of supported SSD for your notebook:-
You can refer to this HP service manual for more assistance:- Click here
I hope that helps
To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
