I just recently purchased a Samsung 970 EVO Plus Series - PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD for my HP Pavilion Laptop 14-bk0xx.
Ive installed it, but upon opening my computer it is no where to be seen anywhere
Ive already tried looking for it in disk management and such but it seems like the computer is not recognizing that anything is there.
Does someone know how to fix this issue?

What is your HP Pavilion Laptop 14-bk0xx ? From manual of the series, page #2 which indicates machine supports M.2 SATA-3 SSD only therefore M.2 NVMe SSD won't work.
Regards.

A little more info, like the complete model number would help us with your problem. 14-bk0xx is incomplete the xx should be 2 numbers and then 2 letters. What are you booting from?

Your model number is 14-bk091st. The support page is Support Page you can save that for future reference. In the manual section there is a service guide with a complete parts list and info how to open the laptop,
The ssds that shipped with that model are all m.2 SATA 3 drives, not pci-e drives. See if you can return it and get the SATA 3 version of the drive. It won't be as fast as the pci-e version, but way faster than a mechanical hdd.
