Hi, @malisanni
HP only has the maintenance and service guide for the older models in the series on your notebook's support page.
HP Pavilion - 15-cs3001ne Manuals | HP® Customer Support
According to chapter 1 of the service manual, your notebook's M.2 slot supports both SATA and NVMe SSD's.
If NVMe SSD's were supported in the older 15-csXXXX model series, they will be supported in yours as well.

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06522293
It has 128 GB M.2 SSD now. The manual does not make a clear cut
Support for M.2 SATA/PCIe solid-state drive (select products only)
Therefore a safe bet is to use M.2 SATA SSD.
Regards.
