Hi:
The 16-xf0xxx model series should have support for two NVMe SSD's.
The 'f' in the model series indicates full featured model, which has two NVMe slots.
Below is the link to the service manual:
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
This person has a 16-xf0xxx notebook and wanted to know how large a capacity SSD they could install in the second slot, so they must have taken the notebook apart to look, or knew it has a second slot.
Solved: can i add 2tb m.2 nvme ssd to the second slot on my device - HP Support Community - 8986675
The 16-xd0xxx model series has one M.2 slot.
The 'd' in the model series indicates de-featured model, which has one NVMe slot.

I wouldn't be able to answer any of the questions you have about how the notebook will perform and suggest you start a new discussion on that.
I don't play video games and the most demand I put on my notebooks is to check e-mail and use the web.
Once in a while I watch YouTube videos.

Hi:
The service video only shows one M.2 SSD in the PC after the bottom cover is removed.
