Hi.
Here are the facts. Bought brand new SSD Gigabyte 250 Gb, 2280, Nvme M.2... Listed notebook by default is equiped only with adapter for m.2 Nvme SSD and the usual optical drive configuration. BIOS is F52 version Insyde, 8Gb RAM DDR4 and an AMD E-9000 APU.
USB conected disks all work fine and can install all OS's.
It reports no error or other problem and yet it just doesn't show the Nvme SSD anywhere. Makesno difference whether Iconnect it or not. Seems like something is not working. True I did not test it on other devices, but how could I check if adapter is damaged or run some tests on motherboard? At least to see a sign that PCIe slot works. Should I install different ver. of BIOS or some firmware? Or enabling disk somehow would do it? Please advise. Thank you.

Your machine should be an HP 15-bw011nm. It supports M.2 SATA-3 SSD + 2.5" HDD therefore it won't see M.2 NVMe drive.
Regards.
