Hello,
I recently replaced my factory fitted 256GB SSD with 1 TB SSD (Samsung SSD 980)
SSD is working fine but upon running basic storage test in BIOS some came back as "Warning"
1. Optimized DST Check: Passed
2. Short DST Check: Warning
3. Long DST Check: Warning
Please can someone explain this to me, is the new 1TB SSD faulty.
Thanks!

Possibly. I recommend using the Samsung diagnostic app on it.

Depending on which version of the 980 you got it may be a 4th gen PCIe and you are running it on a 3rd gen system. This can possibly make the BIOS tests not register correctly so I would try the Samsung test. Samsung warranty would likely make you do that anyway to claim a replacement.
