I need an adapter to connect an internal SATA SSD to my motherboard. I know this is a 7 year old LT, but it is still working fine.

You would need 2 parts

 

  • Hard drive connector cable part # 813795-001
  • Hard Drive Hardware Kit part # 813796-001

They are N/A from HP parts store

You can use part # to search elsewhere including eBay.

I located an adapter and cable taken from the same HP LT model. I will attempt to install it and get the SSD iitialized as soon

Thanks! I found the adapter and cable from a reseller who was parting out an ENVY 17t. What he didn't have is the caddy for the second slot. The caddy for slot #1 will not fit. Any info on a part #, or other suggestions?
