Looking to Install a SSD into my Laptop. Which SSD is supported by HP 15-DA0435TX NVMe or the normal M.2 ? coz NVMe is quite expensive compared to M.2

A lot of confusion on terminology in this arena. M.2 is the kind of slot and both SATA and NVME are types of M.2 SSDs and your laptop can take either kind in the same M.2 slot.

There is a reason for the price differential between a SATA M.2 and a PCIe/NVME M.2. NVME is about 5 times faster. The M.2 SSD you want to get is a Samsung 970 Evo or Evo Plus.

500 gig is 11,300 rupees on amazon india:

The best SATA M.2 would be a Samsung 860 Evo like this:

7800 rupees.

The explanation I give is that a SATA M.2 is very very fast; and NVME M.2 is ridiculous insanely fast. I would pay the extra for an NVME.

Post back with any other questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.
