Does Pavilion 15 au103ne SSD Support?

I open my laptop case for cleaning after 3 years and saw 2 zone. please check my attachment and tell me what are these.

Hi:

 

The large empty space on the right side is where the optional DVD drive goes.  It plugs into the sata port you marked.

 

The thin rectangular section on the lower left side of your screenshot would be where a M.2 SATA SSD goes, but since your notebook has a 2.5" hard drive, the optional M.2 board that the SSD plugs into is not installed, and yes, that hole at the end is for the M.2 drive hold down screw.

 

Chapter 3 of the service manual only has the part for the SSD board (856210-001), but you would have to find the hold down screw on your own, as well as the hold down screw for the M.2 SSD.

Personally, I would just replace the mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.
