Hello there,
I was wondering if I can upgrade my 250 Gb SSD that came with the laptop, for a bigger, faster one. Does it have a second port? I would rather replace this one that is inside the laptop.
And, out of curiosity, is it true that I cannot upgrade my RAM as they are solded?
Thank you !

Hi:
You can install a larger capacity NVMe SSD.
HP offered NVMe SSD's up to 1 TB in the model series.
Your notebook only has support for one M.2 NVMe SSD
I'm not sure what you mean by a 'faster' SSD.
Your PC's M.2 slot is PCIe Gen 3.0 which means the max speed you will get from a NVMe SSD out of a Gen 3 slot is around 3,500 MBPS.
So, if you want to know if a PCIe Gen 4.0 SSD will run at its fully advertised read/write speeds, the answer is no.
If you want to know if you can install a faster PCIe Gen 3.0 NVMe SSD, you can look into the Samsung 980 PCIe Gen 3.0 SSD or a Western Digital Blue SN570 which advertise read speeds up to 3,500 MBPS.
Consult the service manual on your notebook's user guides page for the NVMe SSD removal and replacement procedure.

Your notebook has two memory slots.
The memory is upgradable and can support up to 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 memory.
