Hi:

A NVMe M.2 SSD won't work in your model.

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06325755

Chapter 1 indicates that only M.2 SATA SSD's are supported.

I would open up the notebook first and confirm there is a M.2 slot before you buy a SSD.

Some manuals state there is a M.2 slot, but there isn't.

Below is the link to the Crucial, Germany memory/SSD report for your notebook.

When you scroll all the way to the bottom of the list, you will see that only SATA M.2 drives are compatible.

thanks for the response.

you are saying that it's not support nvme but in this youtube video, he use 950 pro nvme for the bc018ca which is the exact model that i have.

also i looked into the manual and i didn't find bc000 series (or bc018ca).

all i found was:

Model numbers: 15-bc300~15-bc399
Model numbers: 15-bc400~15-bc499
Model numbers: 15-bc500~15-bc599
Model numbers: 15-dp0000~15-dp0099

now i don't know what to do 😄

You're very welcome.

The only thing is...he didn't show it actually working.

Maybe you can get confirmation from him that it actually worked.

Then you would be 100% sure.
