Hello,
Recently I decided to upgrade my laptop's SSD from a LITEON CA1-8D128-HP that came with it, to Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB and I'm wondering if the device is compatible with my laptop, or should I look for something else?

The Manual:
Yes the Liteon you have is a Gen 3 x 4 NVME SSD as is the 970 Evo Plus (good choice) so the Samsung is compatible.
Start on p. 34 to remove the rear cover and inside see this:
M.2 slot circled in red
Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.
