The model I have (Envy x360 15z) comes with a regular 1TGb hard drive but there's another model that comes with a dual HD/SSD configuration.
- Is it possible to upgrade intalling an additional M.2 SSD on this model?
- Is there an M.2 2280 slot available?
- What is the max capacity for an additional M.2 SSD on this model?
- Are there Windows 10 (64 bit) drivers for this model to support and additional M.2 SSD?
- Can I adquire the M.2 SSD from HP and what is the part number?
Thaks in advance

Need your specific model number.
This is from the Service Manual:
Solid-state drive Solid-state drive: Support for a 256-MB, M2.2280, PCIe 3×4SS, NVMe, solid-state drive supporting triple-level cell (TLC) (only on computer models equipped with an AMD A9-9410 processor)
So the answer is the M.2 is available (compatible) on some models but not others.

I have HP ENVY x360 15z (BQ 100 CTO, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U) with factory fitted 7200 rpm 1 TB hard disk and I later added to this laptop with 512 GB M2 NVMe SSD.
The current setup is M2 storage for Windows 10 boot drive/VMware workstation and HDD storage for Steam games.
