In the link to adata website, you can read as SLC cache SSD. I am not sure of Amazon website. I'll rely more on adata website.

In any case, MLC and SLC would be incompatible. Only TLC SSD is supported.

Another issue is: which PCIe x8 slot are you taking about? I don't see any looking through the Manual.

WiFi card PCIe slot is PCIe x1. Nobody here will advice you to use that for eGPU because eventually you would FRY the motherboard.

In continuation of your other thread:

Adata XPG SX8000 is a SLC PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD.

Your notebook is tested to be compatible with TLC SSD. There are many members coming here reporting this issue.

This should be compatible for your notebook:

This one is available in local market or i will have to import it somehow.

https://www.amazon.com/ADATA-SX8000-512GB-Gen3x4-ASX8000NP-512GM-C/dp/B01M6D9JU1

Adata XPG SX8000 is a MLC PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. not SLC

The main concern is I have graphic card installed at PCIe 3.0x8 I am being told that if i install PCIe 3.0x4 SSD NVME it might affect the performance of Graphic Card.

I cant find any PCIe 3.0x8 SSD NVME in the market

If the affect is minor one, should i upgrade it or not?

Also laptop is in warranty how to kep warranty intact while upgrading it?

I don't see the member giving any feedback in that thread of how upgrade went for him.

Recently several issues are cropping up related to these minor technicalities. So we are all cautious while giving suggestions because we know people are coming here to get wise tips and directing them to spend money to get full benefit hassle free is the main goal of this public forum.
