I've had my laptop for 4 years and no problems at all. My question is  can I upgrade my SSD drive and what is the max compacity I can  upgrade my SSD to?  The current SSD is 128 gigs now. Also can i put in a bigger card other than an 8 gigs for my RAM slot?

Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info and supported drive types.

 

Your notebook has two memory slots and can support 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-2666 MHz memory that will run at 2400 MHz.

 

Your notebook's M.2 slot supports both SATA and the much faster performing NVMe SSD's.

 

HP offered SSD's up to 256 GB in storage capacity in the model series, but that is normally just what they offered in the model series, not the maximum capacity supported.
