Hi,
I bought an HP ENVY x360 m Convertible (15m-bq012dx) two days ago. I like the laptop, but it makes this weird noise when it's on; I can't really describe it. I thought it was the fans, so I updated the bios, but the noise still continued. I've concluded that it's probably the 1TB 7200 rpm SATA HDD. I plan to replace it with an SSD, for faster boot and hopefully to get rid of the noise.
My question is how do I go about replacing the HDD with a SSD? Do I just buy a 9.5mm SSD drive and it'll fit where the HDD was? Also is this model capable of having both an SSD and a HDD on board? I'd like to have the SSD as the boot drive and the HDD as a storage drive.
Thanks!
