15-G092SA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have a HP 15-G092SA by almost an year and I want to upgrade it a little because he is a little slowly but I need it more faster.

I found a cheap SSD (Kingston A400 240GB) and i thought to buy it but first I want to still use the current HDD (1TB 5400RP) and replace it with DVD-RW, yes, I found an adapter.

My question: Are these components compatible with my laptop model?

@Denis04,

Yes, the speed is looking good. Practically the SATA port speeds are 400 to 500Mbps.

@Denis04,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to install an SSD on the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I checked the specifications of your computer and see that your computer doesn’t have an M.2 slot to install an SSD. However, you can install a SATA SSD on the computer, and it should work fine on your computer.

Disclaimer: HP Doesn't recommend any upgrade/downgrade of any hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product. It may affect the manufacturer's warranty and performance. You can change the configuration at your own risk.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

Are these results good for this ssd? Kingston A400 240GB, first day of use. I use it without AHCI
