Hi,

It supports both types.

The best idea is to install an M2 PCIe NVMe SSD and then reinstall the OS on it

Example

https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-15-di1001tu

on page 47 of the service manual you can see the steps to replace the RAM

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06691790.pdf

I would also at least upgrade to 8GB of RAM. You can insert an extra 4GB in the empty slot

Hope it helps,

David

Hence sir as per my understanding you clearly state that my laptop is designed to support M.2 NVME protocol at priority.

Though i can put M.2 SATA SSD also In it

Yes, you can use an M2 PCIe NVMe SSD of your preferred brand and capacity (which will be much faster than an M2 SATA SSD). However it is also possible to use an M2 SATA3 SSD. The BIOS will recognize whichever.

Take care,

David
