I want to upgrade my SSD. I currently have a 512 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD and want to replace it with a 1 or 2 TB SSD. With my current product, is it possible to replace my current ssd with 1 or 2 tb ssd?

Hi:
Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that HP offered 1 TB NVMe SSD's in the model series.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't also install a 2 TB NVMe SSD as well.
The Crucial SSD report for your notebook's model series indicates that they sell NVMe SSD's up to 4 TB:
