Hi, need to upgrade my old HP laptop, Model 15-bs573ur / ProdID: 2NP70EA#ACB

A detailed spec/datasheet is also much appreciated.

2. maximum 2x8gb memory, right?

Hi:

You are correct regarding both of your statements.

The M.2 slot only supports SATA SSDs only, not NVMe.

There are many forum members who made the mistake of assuming that since the M.2 slot only had one key, that a NVMe SSD would work, and they were all disappointed when it didn't.

The notebook can support 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-2133 memory.

Most folks install DDR4-2400 CL17 memory but if you want to install DDR4-3200 CL22 memory, that would be fine too.

All memory will run at 2133 MHz because that is as fast as your notebook's processor can run the memory at.

Cool, thank you for details!

Regarding SSD, what is the key type of the M.2 slot on this motherboard: B-key, M-key, or B+M key?

HP Recommended

You're very welcome.

B+M key M.2 2280.

This would be the drive I recommend if you can get it in the Russian Federation:

The 1 TB model for example:

Amazon.com: Western Digital 1TB WD Blue SA510 SATA Internal Solid State Drive SSD - SATA III 6 Gb/s,...

Thank you a lot!

as only needed for study/work, i was thinking of 512gb smth like ADATA Ultimate SU650 [ASU650NS38-512GT-C] or Acer RE100 [BL.9BWWA.114]

Anytime.

Yes, that drive has good read/write specs 550/510 MB/S

The Acer has comparable specs to the WD Blue and if it is the same price as the ADATA drive, the Acer would provide slightly better performance.  560/520 MB/S

acer RE100 M.2 SSD for faster reading and writing User Manual
